Mor & More Beach House

Pembrokeshire, Wales

Enjoy the remote, unspoiled panoramic seascape over the Pembrokeshire skyline from our gorgeous long barn. This is a spacious home suitable for families, small groups or even business retreats. We have sea views and sunsets to take your breath away, and are moments away from the secret of Marros Beach and famed Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. From £400 - £750 per night depending on group size and time of year.

Mor & More BEach House in brief

  • The barn conversion has year round glorious, panoramic, sea views over rolling green pastures right down to Carmarthen Bay

  • Its isolation at the end of a farm track makes it perfect for games nights, cookathons, listening to loud music and getting away from the world.

  • Enjoy your friends, family and dog but get away from them at the same time -the house has 5 double bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (not all en-suite), a kitchen, dining room and gardens.

  • The gardens comprise a parking, wildlife gravel garden to the front; lawns and mown meadow to the rear as well as a new two-storey summer deck for electric sunsets

  • Walk down to the shipwreck and petrified forest on Marros Beach, and explore the world class Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  • Dogs are welcome but there are sheep around and the garden, whilst fenced, will not contain escapologists

  • You can always sit by the open fire with your dog, a good book and a glass of wine.

Things you’ll love…

Wide, panoramic 180º ocean views

Access to three beaches: Tal-Pen, Pendine and Marros, which has petrified shipwrecks and an ancient forest

Blustery walks along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from the front door

Wild swimming (naked if you like, at the nudist beach…)

Things to know…

The private drive up to the house is bumpy, and one of the neighbouring sheep farmers is grumpy

You can work from home: but internet is currently only average . Netflix is usable on the smart tv and you should bring your own speakers for now.

Nearest shops are in Pendine and Kilgetty. Large supermarkets in Carmarthen. Tesco and Gousto will deliver, contact us if you’d like a box.

“You can get lost in the views from the sitting room and the walk to the beach was out of this world– so dramatic as you get close and then suddenly you are there on this deserted beach”

—Ian, A Happy Chillderness GUest at Christmas

Beaches and more beaches

You can walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from the front door. Marros Sands is 20 minutes’ walk in one direction, and Telpyn Point 20 minutes in the other.

Marros Sands has some fascinating features including a shipwreck from 1886, a petrified forest and the odd naturist. Though the best thing is that it is virtually deserted as you cannot drive there.

Amroth or Pendine are a longer walk (or a short drive), and boast miles of golden sands. Pendine is dog friendly year-round, while Amroth welcomes furry friends in the off-season.

WHY THE name?

Mor is the Welsh for sea. This 3500 sq ft house can be found atop a cliff overlooking Carmarthen Bay. On a fine day you can even pick out our sixties boho beach house, Llareggub in Saundersfoot, with binoculars.

Mor & More is so much more than just sea. Carmarthen Bay is sheltered from the brunt of the Atlantic winds which batter the west-facing villages. There is a clarity to the light and air.

We are improving the design all the time so you may find things are a bit different, but we hope better. You can follow our progress with the magic of Instagram

Location and getting there

Mor & More is situated on a private drive in Marros, not far from the lovely village of Pendine.

Tenby, Narbeth and Saundersfoot are all close by.
